Rob STEVENS is currently Director, Scientific& Regulatory Affairs at RAI Services Company, USA. Rob has led regulatory submission teams for both vapor and heated tobacco products at Reynolds over the past 5 years. Prior to joining RAI Services, Rob worked for over 25 years at Lorillard Tobacco Company and ITG Brands in the areas of applied analytical testing, quality and standards, product stewardship, and external engagement. Rob’s background is in analytical chemistry; he received a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Duke University.
Rob has also been actively involved with CORESTA for almost 20 years. During this time, he has been a strong contributor to the development of standardized analytical methods for both emerging and conventional tobacco products. On an executive level, Rob served on the CORESTA Scientific Commission from 2014 – 2022, where he served as the Vice President of the Scientific Commission from 2018 - 2020 and the President of Commission from 2020 - 2022. Currently, Rob serves on the CORESTA Board representing RAI Services, where he has been very actively involved on the CORESTA Strategy Committee and is currently a co-leader for the CORESTA Tobacco Harm Reduction (THR) Committee.
