John L. Marshall Jr. (“Jack”) chairs the Nicotine Resource Consortium Board of Directors. He also serves as senior director at Altria Client Services (ALCS) where he leads efforts to advance harm reduction through engagement and communications with a diverse group of stakeholders in the regulatory policy and scientific communities. Jack’s previous roles at ALCS include leading the development of strategies for supply chain sustainability and engagement on farm labor issues. He has also worked in corporate communications, where he led media affairs and communications for numerous business areas, including litigation and legislative issues; and in government affairs where he developed legislative positions, program sand strategies. Before joining ALCS, Jack was a partner at a law firm based in Richmond, Virginia, where his practice focused on civil litigation, land use matters and government affairs. Marshall received his Bachelor of Science degree in commerce from the University of Virginia in 1991 and his law degree from the University of Virginia in 1995.
