Chris Greer was appointed president & CEO of the Nicotine Resource Consortium(formerly TMA) in 2017, having previously been head of corporate affairs and communications for JTI’s US, Caribbean, and Central American markets. Chris entered the tobacco industry in 2010 from Verizon Wireless’s legal &external affairs department as part of a new class inducted into the industry to meet the challenges of emerging FDA regulation of tobacco. Chris is an expert in regulatory and corporate affairs, government and external relations and has experience ranging from regulatory strategy, international trade, stakeholder and government relations, excise taxation, internal and external communications and trade media.
